How to care for your candle

Candle Care

Follow these simple steps to ensure your candle burns beautifully every time — and lasts as long as possible.

The First Burn
Allow the wax to melt all the way to the edges on your first use. This prevents tunnelling and ensures an even burn every time after.

Trim the Wick
Before each burn, trim your wick to 5mm. A trimmed wick produces a cleaner, steadier flame and extends the life of your candle.

Burn Time
Never burn your candle for more than 4 hours at a time. Allow it to cool and solidify completely before relighting.

Storage & Display
Store away from direct sunlight and heat to preserve both the fragrance and the sculptural form. Your candle is a piece of art — treat it as one.

Extinguishing
Use a candle snuffer rather than blowing out the flame. This prevents wax splatter and preserves the integrity of the sculptural form.

Safety First
Never leave a burning candle unattended. Keep away from drafts, children, and flammable materials. Place on a stable, heat-resistant surface.

Each candle is formulated for a long, even burn when cared for correctly.

Prepare Your Space
Before lighting, choose a calm environment and place your candle on a stable surface away from drafts.

Light with Intention
Take a moment to pause. Light the wick slowly and focus on the atmosphere you wish to create.

Let It Burn
Allow the candle to burn for 2 to 4 hours to create an even melt pool and optimal fragrance release.

Close the Ritual
Before leaving the room, ensure the flame is safely extinguished. Reflect on the ambiance created.
